It has been duely reported that the Director-General of the Department of State Service, DSS, Mr Lawal Daura has been sacked by the Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo for “breaching national security.” Shortly after his termination of appointment, it is said that a combination of the Police and the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) have arrested and detained the sacked Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS). The Governor of Gombe State, Gov. Ibrahim Dankwambo, has finally cleared the air by stating his intention of running for the highest position in the country under the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
