CHOLERA KILLS 28 IN KANO STATE, NIGERIA

The commissioner for Health, Kano State, Alhaji Kabiru Usman Getso has reported to journalists that Cholera has killed 28 persons in the 44 Local Government Areas of Kano State between January and July 2018.
He also told Journalists that N32 million has been approved by the government to prevent and control epidemics in the state. Furthermore, the commissioner said that the government had also put measures in place to combat the outbreak and that the control of the outbreak was not the responsibility of government alone but also of stakeholders including civil society organisations, media and community-based organisations.
