BUILDING COLLAPSES IN ABUJA, NIGERIA.

A four storey shopping complex under construction in the Jabi area of Abuja, Nigeria is said to have collapsed on Friday, August 17, at 1:30pm with about ten (10) persons trapped including women and children. It has also been reported that two (2) have been confirmed dead while others have been rescued.
The Acting President of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, visited the site and described the incident as an unfortunate one. He wished the injured a quick recovery and thanked the rescue team for responding urgently.
