"BUHARI IS 'SO LIFELESS', I REGRET MEETING HIM" - DONALD TRUMP

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has been reported to have warned his aides for setting up a meeting which he regrets with the number one citizen of Nigeria, President Muhammmadu Buhari.  Account to reports by the leading International publication, Financial Times, Donald Trump described his April meeting with Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari as ‘so lifeless’.

It can be recalled that President Buhari visited President Donald Trump in the United States on April 30 at Washington during which the two leaders discussed issues centered on combating terrorism as well as straightening economic growth.

However, Donald Trump is set to welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta  of Kenya. Financial Times in an article titled  ‘Africa looks for something new out of Trump’ claimed that the US President described his April meeting with Buhari as ‘so lifeless’. The paper also added that Trump warned his aides that he never wanted to meet someone so lifeless again after quoting three familiar sources.

“The first meeting, with Nigeria’s ailing 75-year-old Muhammadu Buhari in April, ended with the US president telling aides he never wanted to meet someone so lifeless again, according to three people familiar with the matter,” the newspaper claimed.
