HOW TO FIGHT DEPRESSION....
Do you feel sad, tearful, empty or hopeless?
Do you feel an anger outburst, irritated or frustrated, even over small matters?
Do you have loss of interest or pleasure in most or all normal activities?
Do you have sleep disturbances, feel unnessary tiredness and lack of energy, so even small tasks take extra effort?
Do you feel anxiety, agitation or restlessness?
Do you have the feelings of worthlessness or guilt, always thinking of past failures or self-blame for everything?
Do you have frequent or recurrent thoughts of death, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempts or suicide?
Then, you are on the road of depression.
Depression is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Depression affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems. You may have trouble doing normal day-to-day activities, and sometimes you may feel as if life isn't worth living.
Depression can happen to anyone whether young or old, male or female and can be caused by any factor such as:
1. Past Abuse (Physical, Sexual or Emotional Abuse)
2. Drugs
3. Death or Loss of a loved one
4. An illness or a medical condition
5. Personal problems such as unemployment, delay in marriage/childbirth, divorce, losing a job or money (income) etc.
6. Genetics or Heredity ... and so on
However, learn to reach out to people and stay in touch with lovely people/friends. Always do the things that make you happy and good. Learn to exercise yourself always, receive a great amount of sunlight and think positive things. When you feel that it is getting out of hand, I advise you seek professional help from medical practitioners.....
